Mini Symposia > MS3 : Non destructive testing

MS3: Non-destructive testing

Organiser: E. Landis

The focus of this mini symposium is to share current work on how nondestructive evaluation (NDE) and testing (NDT) can enhance our understanding of fracture processes. Potential topics can included advances in different experimental techniques (ultrasonics, acoustic emission, radiography, resistivity) and associated data analysis, as well as data integration across different techniques. Particularly encouraged are papers that cross topical boundaries, such as the use of NDT measurements to augment or validate multiscale or discrete models, or NDE measurements related to durability related damage and fracture. Papers exploiting advanced experimental techniques are also encouraged.
